Client: ELSA, LLC.  ELSA, LLC is an automotive component manufacturer specializing in fuel tanks, exhaust systems, and structural components for OEM customers.  See them online at www.elsallc.com.
Location:  Off of SR 37 in Elwood, Indiana. Completion:
Summer 2003
Project: A 30,080 square foot warehouse building addition. The building is a conventional steel building provided by Grant County Steel.
Features: Kellam, Inc. is widely known for its dirt and excavating work and utilizes its own heavy machinery to perform all sitework for building preparation. As you can see in the photos, a great deal of earthwork needed to be performed to prepare this site for the building addition. In many areas, the subgrade material needed to be brought up and compacted in lifts from 5-7 feet. Additionally, ELSA was characterized by a fully adhered EPDM roof by Arnie Cook’s Roofing with multiple roof vents. Shipping traffic was handled by an asphalt drive, truck turnaround and a (3) bay truck dock. All structural steel was painted by Modern Materials with a dryfall paint.
